Public Relations
I do a lot of media relations work - using my skills to make sure my clients appear across a range of media.
I've got a three step approach:
- I'll listen to what you want to say and advise on how you should get that message across using the media.
- I'll draw up a plan of action - telling you exactly what I can do and when I'll do it by.
- I'll do it! I might prepare you a briefing note, call some contacts, research some publications or write and issue a press release. I might give you general advice on how to handle media enquiries or help you manage some potential bad publicity.
I won't give you unrealistic expectations and I'll explain everything in a simple, easy-to-understand way.

Journalism
I'm a qualified senior journalist who spent five years in regional newspapers covering business, news and features.
I write quickly, concisely and to deadline. I've written internet sites, magazines and newsletters for clients. I also do some private sector work writing press releases to order.
I've also advised clients on their existing print and website materials - using my plain English skills to make them appealing, attractive and accessible to a wider audience.
I'll consult with you throughout the process of writing a publication. I'll want to know who you want to reach and how much you're prepared to spend. I'll give you clear, rigid deadlines and talk with printers and designers to make sure you get the product you want.
